Cast iron reproduction of Victorian Rim Lock Keep / latch striker plate. The height is 127mm, width 20.5mm and is approximately 20mm deep (proud of fixed surface) with a small lip an additional 2mm. The screw hole centres are 103mm.

Our authentic hardware is traditionally crafted through a sand casting process and goes through five stages of hand finishing to achieve a natural authentic, living finish. When exposed to moisture directly or in high humidity Cast Iron is susceptible to rust, however light surface corrosion can easily be removed with wire wool and protected with a lightly oiled or waxed cloth. In extreme conditions such as outdoors we recommend applying a suitable finish such as lacquer or paint.
