Half Moon Cast Iron + Brass reproduction of Victorian Rim Lock Keep / latch striker plate. This is a high quality heavy duty item. The keep itself is 91.5mm high and overall height is 121mm (incl. fixing lugs) with fixing holes at 103mm centres. The inner is 80mm x 18mm x 20mm.

Additional features

Our authentic hardware is traditionally crafted through a sand casting process and goes through five stages of hand finishing to achieve a natural authentic, living finish. When exposed to moisture directly or in high humidity Cast Iron is susceptible to rust, however light surface corrosion can easily be removed with wire wool and protected with a lightly oiled or waxed cloth. In extreme conditions such as outdoors we recommend applying a suitable finish such as lacquer or paint.
